At Guardian, we believe in empowering the next generation to build a solid financial foundation for their future. That's why we offer the Youth Savings Account, designed to kickstart your child's journey towards financial independence and education. Our goal is to equip young savers with opportunities to learn healthy spending and saving habits, and what better way than with their own account? We offer Youth Savings options that provide the tools and convenience to make saving simple. Youth Savings Accounts are available for children age 18 and under, with parental access and control every step of the way.
How to Begin
To start saving, your youth can open a Share Account - which is like a traditional savings account - with a minimum deposit of $1. Parents are added as a joint accountholder on all Youth Savings accounts. There are no monthly fees and plenty of tools that help parents manage the account with ease.
Share Account Features
Financial Literacy, Powered by Banzai
Guardian has partnered with Banzai, a financial literacy program that provides resources and free courses that teach students about financial and life literacy, to help our youth develop strong money management skills in a practical and interactive way. These courses are divided into several age segments, providing the curriculum and tools that best suits your child’s needs during their stage of life, including Banzai Junior, Banzai Teen, Banzai Plus, College and Careers, and Digital Citizenship.
